From the Office of Administration

As we continue to provide great instructions through the MSFEJ-CHMJI, we continue to look for ways to strengthen the curriculum and to provide platforms that make it more convenient for the students and faculty to engage. Distance learning via online venues is not new to academia. However, it does require a learning curve for many who have not engaged technology for some time, and we are conscience of that fact. Our staff is here to assist in any way possible to make sure each participant has a smooth transition throughout the process. We are excited about the opportunities distance learning is and will continue to provide.

We challenge you to be a part of the next enrolling class of 2021-2023.

About the Institute

Charles Harrison Mason Jurisdictional Institutes serves as the work of the ministry in biblical and theological  training and development. These institutes of Christian Education laid the foundation in which the Church of God In Christ continues to provide  opportunities for the Body of Christ to become fully instructed in faith; leading lives as productive and creative Christians.

Our Mission

To magnify God by providing biblical, theological, and practical training for all laypersons and credential holders within jurisdictions, districts, and congregations. The academic material is designed to serve persons who are pursuing licensure, ordination, and professional development.

Our Objectives

  • To provide students a thorough grounding in biblical, theological, and practical ministries.
  • To encourage students to deepen their spiritual lives and personal
    relationships with Jesus Christ.
  • To foster a spirit of service and ministry within the church and
    community.

New Testament Survey

This course is an overview of the four Gospels portraying the life of Christ. The book of Acts is used as a historical framework for the study of the earlier New Testament letters and as an introduction to its later letters and climax. Application of the New Testament’s teachings to our individual and corporate lives as believers is maintained throughout.
