21, 1974 to Bishop Prince Bryant [Texas
South Central Jurisdiction] and Saint Bobbie
Jean Cawthon. The oldest child of 5 children,
Superintendent Bryant’s childhood was filled
with laughter and joy.

He is a fourth Generation Church of God in
Christ product and The nephew of Bishop C.
L. Bryant [Texas Southeast Third Jurisdiction]
and the grandson of Bishop A. L. Cawthon
[Panama Jurisdiction, appointed by Bishop C.

Assistant Supervisor Rosie Harris

Asst Supervisor Rosie Harris, is a dedicated servant of the Lord with a profound mission to leave a lasting impact on the world while actively contributing to the growth of God’s kingdom. Currently serving as the District Missionary for District Twelve, Msn. Harris has demonstrated unwavering commitment by faithfully serving in various ministries and fulfilling diverse roles for over five decades. These roles include First Lady, District Secretary, and District Chairlady, among others. Beyond her church duties, she actively engages in numerous social and community activities. 

Missionary Harris is a devoted member of the Mars Hill Church of God in Christ (Philadelphia, MS), under the spiritual guidance and leadership of Pastor Elder Porter Ross, Jr.

Dr. Joshua Peters Smith, M.A., LPC, BC-TMH

Whereas many people choose to live a life of complacency and comfortability, he constantly challenges others to level up—both personally and professionally. As a licensed professional counselor, mental health and wellness coach, and mentor to many, Joshua P. Smith is best known for his balanced and holistic approach to life, ministry, and the marketplace—empowering others to live purposefully and passionately. He specializes in stretching people beyond their self-limiting beliefs and perceived capacity, positioning them to do things they never thought they could do. With more than 23 years of ministerial experience and 13 years of experience in mental health, Joshua’s mandate is to help people unearth their potential, pursue purpose fulfillment, and sharpen the lives of others for the advancement of the kingdom. Pastor Marq Powell

He is the founder and Pastor of New Birth COGIC (Hattiesburg, MS).

He serves as the Jurisdictional Young Adult Ministries Coordinator.

He serves in the COGIC International Youth Department as the Assistant Coordinator of the Southern Region Young Adult Ministries.

Powell travels nationally preaching the good news of Jesus Christ. He is the author of the book “Me, Myself, and I…Am”. He is the CEO of his consulting company, Powell Enterprise Consultants. He is a recording artist, composer, musician, revivalist, motivational speaker, and workshop facilitator among other things.

Pastor Powell is the founder and director of the award-winning gospel recording group “The Voices of Christ.” He is also the president and CEO of Marq Powell Ministries.

He is married to Evangelist Msn Doris Powell and has one son, Daniel.

ELDER RIGEL ROBINSON

Personal: Elder Robinson is an author, pastor, educator, clinician, and life coach, with service to the church and community spanning 45 years. He has worked with seven different reformations helping to build ministries in youth departments, evangelism, Christian education, and auxiliary leadership. He has been married to Sandra P Robinson for 33 years and has five children.

Service: He is the pastor of Empowered To Live Ministry, and has served as District Evangelist for Districts 11 and 14. He has also served as the primary clinician for the Department of Evangelism, MSFEJ under Superintendent Paige leadership. He has been a public school educator for the last 25 years serving the Jackson community. Presently, he also works as a Resident Advisor for Methodist Children’s Home. He has just returned from Busia, Kenya where he served as guest speaker at their leadership conference.
Passions: Elder Robinson is a man driven by three passions: (1) adding value to people, (2) strong biblical teaching and preaching, and (3) commitment to personal and spiritual growth. His motto is Leaders influence and inspire.

Duane Odom

Duane Odom is a retired District Commander with the Jackson Police Department with 30 years of law enforcement experience. He started on the Department as a beat officer and was blessed to move up the ranks serving the department and the public as a training academy instructor, training coordinator, precinct Sergeant, Precinct Lieutenant, Special Operations Commander, and District Commander for Police Precincts 1,2, Special Operations and Hostage Negotiations. He currently works part-time for the Hinds County Sheriff’s Department as an administrative Sergeant.

Duane is married to Shannon Odom and together are blessed with 4 adult children and several grandchildren. He and his wife are faithful members of Greater Deliverance Church of God In-Christ located in Byram, MS.
